Emergency Water Supply
Since 1962, the City’s primary source of potable water is the SFPUC aqueduct system with five connection points in various parts of the City. The proposed new reservoir, like the City’s existing reservoirs, would be used for fire fighting and meeting short-term (hours) emergency demand.
